Not as good as The Tale of Despereaux or Because of Winn-Dixie, but still very good.

Book: Love Walked In by Maria de los Santos

Very cute. Lots of allusions to Cary Grant and The Philadelphia Story.

Mom loved it.

Book: I Was Told There'd Be Cake by Sloane Crosley

A collection of essays that are overall pretty good, but not funny or witty enough to recommend. She also uses a lot of profanity when it's not really necessary.

Book: Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer

A nice way to end the Twilight series. It ended with a happily ever after, so that's always good.

Book: Gossamer by Lois Lowry

Heidi loaned me this book and I'm glad she did. It was a very cute story, a quick read with a wonderful message.

I liked it.

Book: Gideon the Cutpurse by Linda Buckley-Archer

Time travel books are not usually my cup of tea, but this one was pretty good.

I don't know that I'll read the other books in the trilogy though.
